Hello, Deviants!
During this brief lapse before our announcement for the path ahead, we’ve been focused on lifting the spirits of our community. Migrations are quite complex enterprises to coordinate and our team has designed ways to reward active community members that will walk with us.
We’ve calibrated and implemented the Deviants’ Factions Leveling Tree in our Discord server. Users will earn experience by participating in conversations and activities. Your goal: to reach Level 8 and choose a Faction. Participants who achieve that goal before the migration process is completed will acquire OG status and, thus, elegible for special opportunities.
The experience earning algorythm takes many factors into consideration to go in deep, but know that it has been carefully calibrated. Anti spam measures are built-in, so experience can’t be cheated through undesirable behavior.

In their beginnings, users will follow a straight line as they become notorious in the Deviant community. While exploring their newly discovered abilities, they learn about other deviants and the ongoing war, veiled to the human eye. When a Deviant surpasses Prodigy status, Factions will open their doors to thicken their lines.
As is to be expected, every Faction proposes starkly different manners of advancing through their ranks.
The insightful Awaken have Attentions, which represent the kind of relationship that awakens have with reality. There are 3 kinds: The Eyes, who can understand beyond others and strategize; the Ears, who hear the most distant whispers; and the Hands, the ones who do what must be done in battle. Any Awaken can obtain Mouth status and become a legitimate voice during negotiations with other Factions.
Entropy despises hierarchies and their organization works accordingly. Entropians specialize two times in one of 3 aspects: tactics, artisanship and rebelry. Mixing abilities creates specialization without the need of oppressive power structures. Just as every Entropian is an Equal, every member that has proven themself in extreme moments is allowed their moment with the Oathmaker.
Inhumans see themselves as the future. They don’t see a use for undeviants, those weaklings who recklessly exploit resources that are meant for the new. Inhuman Ways reveal the methods of self-improvement chosen by each member. Acolytes of the Needle use chemical subtances that would be toxic for many. The way of Beryllium centers on enhancement through metallic implants. The way of Circuits prepare Inhuman bodies to directly interact with technology. Inhuman Overlords stem from all three ways.
Owner Free Agents choose a Focus that will guide their ascent in the intricate relationships of power that rule the world. Free Agents of Luxury tackle the economic needs of an enterprise as massive as the Faction of order. Power focused members play the match of politics, using companies and state machinery to fulfill their purposes. A focus in Command will make a Free Agent a leader among the Owner batallions. Members from every focus are allowed in the Directorate.
